RETs are defined by the renewable energy perspective plan for
nwpal 2000 to 2020 B.S., an approach is as follows
The renewable energy si energy from non –exhaustive natural
resources like water, biogas, solar, wind, geothermal etc and technologies that
makes use of these resources are defined as renewable energy technology (RETs)
The reason for giving greater priority attention to RETs
development in Nepal particularly in the last decade are to meet the growing
energy requirement of rural communities for overall rural upliftment.
